Guaranties and sureties
Depending from the types of obligations, PJSEB “Trustbank” provides different kinds of bank guarantees for the period not exceeding 2 years.
Under the bank guarantee the bank (the guarantor) issues in its own name and at the request of another person (the principal) a written obligation to pay the principal’s creditor (beneficiary) an amount of money in accordance with the terms of the guarantee.
The principal shall meet the following requirements:
- Shall run profitable business with good liquidity position;
- Shall not have any overdue accounts payable;
- Shall have positive financial review from auditors for the last three financial years;
- Shall have positive credit history.
In order to receive the bank guarantee the principal shall submit the following documents to the Bank:
- Guarantee Application Form;
- Business plan with analysis of cash flow for the validity period of the bank guarantee;
- Balance sheet for the latest accounting period (Form # 1), statement of financial performance (Form # 2), statement of overdue accounts payable and receivable (Form # 2-1);
- Auditor’s reports for the last three financial years.
The following can serve as collateral to ensure performance of the principal’s obligations under guarantee agreement:
- Pledge of liquid property or securities, cash collateral;
- Insurance policy against non-performance of principal’s obligations under the guarantee agreement.
