Trustbank has established the activities of “mahalla bankers” and “assistant agents” in 101 mahallas throughout the republic, supporting business projects of the population. Representatives of this new system are helping to increase the income of residents by assisting with business plan preparation and project implementation. Specifically, during january-june of this year, 2,230 micro-projects were implemented in mahallas to ensure employment, creating more than 4,500 new jobs. Of course, training seminars are regularly held to improve the efficiency of “mahalla bankers” and “assistant agents”. The team building event organized by Trustbank in Namangan for representatives of this system operating in Andijan and Namangan regions is one such example.
During the event, participants were divided into groups and, through team games, enhanced their skills related to the tasks and functions of “mahalla bankers” and “assistant agents”. In particular, detailed guidance was provided on working with clients, developing communication skills and creating business plans.
Additionally, participants demonstrated their skills through role-playing exercises on topics such as cybersecurity, online microloans and the procedure for obtaining microloans to start a business. Furthermore, at the event, “mahalla bankers” and “assistant agents” who have served as reliable bridges between the population and the bank, actively participating in poverty reduction and job creation in the regions, as well as small business owners, were awarded honorary certificates and valuable commemorative gifts by Trustbank.
